Provides hands on learning experiences to parents and child in the home using a research-based curriculum called, Parents as Teachers. The program focuses on connecting child development with parenting behaviors to provide tools to raise a happy, healthy, confident child and to help prepare children for kindergarten. Meetings are once per week for 90 minutes, around the parent's schedule. Socialization opportunities are provided to the children and families twice per month.

Classes include education about pregnancy and parenting and life skills to help new parents through the pregnancy and to introduce them to parenthood. Participants earn points for each class or skill completed that can be used to purchase new or gently used items for the new baby.

Offers strength-based parent education services for new parents and young parents, quality care education offered to working parents as part of child care resource and referral services, and early childhood enrichment programs. Also provides supervised visitation with a trained supervisor. Able to accommodate family and attorney requests as well as court ordered visitation.

Provides Nurse-Family Partnership free maternal and child health services in Chemung County for first-time mothers. Clients receive health care guidance and education during pregnancy and after the birth of the baby until the child’s second birthday, to ensure healthy outcomes for both mother and child.
