Provides vocational rehabilitation services to eligible individuals to prepare them for employment (including helping them to further their education) consistent with their strengths, ability and interest. These jobs can be in the competitive workforce, self-owned businesses in the home, sheltered workshops or in supported employment in the community. Also works with students, families and school districts to coordinate appropriate services for students with disabilities who are leaving secondary education and entering adult vocational rehabilitation.

The goal of the program is to assist mentally ill individuals in accessing services needed to enhance their quality of life while allowing them to be part of the community at the most productive level possible for that individual. Works with income-eligible households (homeowners, renters, and landlords) to improve the energy efficiency of the home (single family units, manufactured housing, and 1-4 building rental units). Considers weatherization efforts including insulation and air sealing; home heating sources, hot water tanks, carbon monoxide or smoke detectors, solar options and more, to ensure the health and safety of homes. Grants offered through New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) for income-eligible households, referrals and assessment also available.

Job Coaching is available to teach on-the-job skills, help individuals maintain their employment, and give support with work-related issues.

Provides handicapped, disabled homebound citizens of any age home delivered meals Mon-Fri, with options for weekend meals. Meals are delivered between 10:30am and 12:30pm. Each meals is 1/3 RDA and is planned with a Registered Dietician. Special diets can be accommodated.
