Provides consumer-driven services to support individuals with disabilities and their families in achieving their goals by offering information and resources, advocacy, service coordination, various workshops, family reimbursement opportunities, and connection with other individuals or with disabilities.

Provides various agricultural loans, loan guarantee and grant programs to ensure the stability of farming throughout the state. Works with farmers to ensure they know of all federal programs they can apply for.

Provides information regarding property taxes. Helps individuals determine if they may be eligible for a tax exemption program and processes applications.

Provides information and guidance to grandparents raising grandchildren.

Provides supported housing opportunities for individuals recovering from mental illness needing a stable living environment. Individuals are provided the necessary support to live independently. Offers three community residences, with one focusing on individuals with both a mental illness and a chemical addiction (dual diagnosis), with 24 hour supervision that are licensed by the New York State Mental Health.

Provides a wide array of programming for infants through senior citizens. These programs are greatly varied, so that people of differing abilities may participate. Some of the programs include aerobics, aqua exercise, fitness programs, indoor track, basketball, gym classes, specialty camps, country line dancing, volleyball, soccer and swimming lessons for all ages, and pre-school and school age swim instruction.

Provides cash benefits and/or medical care for workers who are injured or become ill as a direct result of their job.

Offers counseling to help avoid foreclosure and referrals to nonprofit housing counselors who may be able to assist in negotiating a solution or finding legal services.

Hears cases involving vandalism, disorderly conduct, public intoxication, traffic violations, and other offenses that happen within the city or town. Accepts payments for restitution or fines ordered through the court.

Offers a skilled nursing facility, home nursing services and home health services.

Provides crisis intervention answering services for individuals who abuse alcohol or are at risk of abuse with the aim of defusing the immediate crisis, ensuring the person's safety, and providing information about alternatives the person may explore to begin recovering. Home intervention may be available depending on the circumstances.

Provides building code information as well as ensured local building codes are enforced including taking and investigating reports of violations. Issues building permits.

The goals of the program are to maintain family unity, prevent premature or inappropriate out-of-home placement, enhance parenting skills, maximize the potential of the family member with a developmental disability, and provide quality of life.

Provides programming designed to be responsive to the unique needs of the community's residents. Offers many diverse programs in order to build strength, eliminate barriers, improve lives, and make a difference within the community. Typical programs can include GED and ESL education, job training programs, Head Start and day care, weatherization and energy assistance programs, health services, and services for older adults.
