City Parks & Recreation | Stewart Park

Offers space to the public for recreational use. Most parks provide picnic pavilions, trails and playgrounds and follow a carry-in, carry-out policy for trash. Pools available at two locations as well as an ice rink. City also sponsors many youth and adult sports leagues and camps, tot programs, Arts and Crafts programs, and community special events such as Kid's Day and the Great Pumpkin Hunt that are available at the various parks.

Also offers Home Safety Assessment to identify fall risks in the home.

Community Supports and Day Services are designed to provide enriching opportunities for people with developmental disabilities to enhance their social skills and their independence. Provides mediation and arbitration services for community, parent/child, divorce, custody and visitation, and juvenile issues. A neutral third person, the mediator, facilitates discussions between the parties. The mediator helps participants develop or refine their communication skills, and teaches school children techniques for resolving disagreements. Mediators are trained conflict resolution volunteers.
