Provides services and supports to families to prevent out of home placement for their child. Enrollment in the program is voluntary and no fees are charged to the family. Staff meet with the family/youth in their home and other locations chosen by the family.

Recruits, screens and matches trained volunteers in one-to-one friendship relationships with adults receiving mental health services. Program is based on the concept that a volunteer's friendship and support can offset the loneliness and isolation of mental illness. Volunteers meet with their matched friends a minimum of 4 hours a month at a time and place of their choosing to share social, recreational, and educational activities. Compeer offers programs for children and youth called PAL and Circle of Friends programs to match children and adolescents receiving mental health services identified with social support needs with a mentor.

Provides comprehensive educational program to prepare every student within the district to meet graduation requirement as set by the state. Includes extra curricular activities that give students a wide range of opportunities to be involved in student life.

Helps individuals and families enroll in health plans through NY State of Health, the state’s health insurance marketplace. The Navigator Program is funded by a grant from the New York State Department of Health, and has no ties to any insurance companies.

Ensures equality in the workplace and the delivery of customer services through taking discrimination and sexual harassment complaints. They also deal with issues with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), review unemployment insurance discrimination complaints, and provide administration and oversite of the Minority and Women's Business Program and of One-Stop Centers.

Offers an extensive range of educational, cultural and social opportunities to full- and part-time learners. Focuses on student achievement by stressing quality teaching and personal attention. Offers transfer, career, certificate, and training programs, and enhances economic development.
