Provides non-medical in-home services including help with bathing, eating, shopping, cooking, cleaning, and laundry based on need. The service also includes a care manager whose responsibility is to determine the individual's needs.

Offers a skilled nursing facility, home nursing services and home health services.

Advocates for residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities and adult care homes. Ombudsmen visit long-term care facilities, build relationships with residents, and give them a voice. Ombudsmen help people understand their rights; address issues that could impact health, safety and quality of life; and investigate complaints.

Provides children's clothing sized 0-14, plus shoes, scarves, and winter coats.

Offers a licensed school age child care program where students work on homework, receive substance abuse prevention education, and lesson plans of cultural and educational nature. Also provides field trips, recreation and snacks.

Provides policy leadership, program direction, and administrative oversight for the integrated workforce investment system under the Workforce Investment Act (WIA). WIA supports economic growth and barrier-free access to programs and services for adults, dislocated workers, youth, and special populations.

Provides information about the knowledge and skills that are required for specific positions in specific industries and professions through various programming options to educators and students in and out of school.

Offers economic development loans for commercial development/maintenance, housing rehabilitation loans for rental properties, and loans to help with water and sewer issues. Helps to identify other funding sources to help build the local business economy, including providing demographic and statistical data, identifying commercial sites and buildings, coordinating reviews and help with understanding and complying with local zoning and code laws.

Provides comprehensive educational program in a private school to prepare students from grade six to grade twelve to meet graduation requirements as set by the state. Includes extracurricular activities that give students a wide range of opportunities to be involved in student life.

Provides access to local public records. Fulfills Freedom of Information requests. Administers various state and local license permits. Serves as the Registrar of Vital Statistics and provides various services related to birth and death certificates, and marriage licenses. Issues dog licenses and provides dog control services.

Provides parenting and child development education as well as assistance with material items such as baby and toddler items and maternity items. Also has parenting program for men with children.

Offers an eight-ten week DVD based curriculum to help women be free from the guilt and grief that follows abortion. This study touches: relief, denial, anger, forgiveness, depression, letting go and acceptance. Groups are also available for men (Healing A Father's Heart).

Provides information to individuals on helping to live a nicotine free life, organizes the annual conference, and prepares, publishes and distributes materials.

Provides limited respite available for adults within the home in order to provide relieve for a caregiver.

Provides legal counsel to indigent offenders if the accused faces possible imprisonment, or is involved in a custody case before the Surrogate, or Family Court who cannot use a Public Defender.

Provides county-wide police patrol and criminal investigations. Offers various crime prevention programs and education and general information covering law enforcement. Accepts reports of consumer fraud and criminal acts.

Provides short, non-credit programs focused on helping unemployed, underemployed, and career changing individuals enter manufacturing careers (Welding, CNC/Machining, Industrial Maintenance Technician, BAS, HVAC etc.). Students who enter the programs do not need a high school diploma and the course fees are often entirely or partially covered by grants, scholarships and other funding sources. JCC Career Services will also support these students in their efforts to find a job. At the end of several programs, a workshop is held that leads students through resume building and interview skills. Workforce Development invites local manufacturing companies to interview students on campus at the end of some of the programs (welding, machining and industrial maintenance). Students have access to JCC Career Services for a year after the completion of their program.

Provides building code information as well as ensures local building codes are enforced including taking and investigating reports of violations. Issues building permits.

Provides an alternative living environment for children and youth who have been neglected, abused or abandoned or have had contact with the juvenile justice system.

Provides comprehensive and emergency medical services.

Offers twelve-step mutual support programs that are open to individuals with a desire to discontinue drug use. Also maintains lists of ongoing groups throughout the community. Internet-based groups are also available.

Provides a temporary bed to individuals being released or who have been recently released from the county jail that have a diagnosed mental illness and are homeless.

Provides legal assistance to persons and families threatened with homelessness due to eviction, foreclosure, utility shutoff, code violations, or other causes including mobile home park issues and land contract problems. Assists the household in trying to resolve the housing crisis and provides legal case management services to help the household maintain economic stability. Works to prevent evictions and, with community partners, provides rapid re-housing to our clients.

Works with income eligible households to improve the energy efficiency of the home. Furnace replacement, referrals and energy evaluations ensure the health and safety of homes. There is currently a waiting list for this program.

Provides a free meal to individuals in the community.
