Provides trainings to professionals working with the community. Trainings include Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) for Teens, Youth, and Adults; and Question, Persuade, and Refer (QPR) training for ages 12 and up. Trainings are available in-person or virtually.

Provides mediation and arbitration services for community, parent/child, divorce, custody and visitation, and juvenile issues. A neutral third person, the mediator, facilitates discussions between the parties. The mediator helps participants develop or refine their communication skills, and teaches school children techniques for resolving disagreements. Mediators are trained conflict resolution volunteers.

Offers discounted bus fares and monthly passes to eligible individuals.

Offers two residential homes for children and youth who are experiencing emotional difficulties and have reached a level of stability and recovery in other inpatient and residential settings which enables them to live with others in a community-based setting, attend local schools, and participate in community, cultural, and social opportunities.

Oversees cases brought before a judge by the district attorney. The County Court hears cases involving crimes or violations of law committed within the county including cases involving drug treatment. Family Court hears cases involving children and families, juvenile delinquency, child protection, adoptions, support, paternity, foster care placement. The Surrogate Court hears cases involved with inheritance, such as probate of wills and administration of estates. The Supreme Court hears cases involved with negligence, divorces, and contract and breach of warranty.

Does not provide hauling services nor process some types of materials. Drop Off Stations/Transfer Stations are available as an alternative to curbside pickup. Large amounts must be taken to the shredder station or the landfill. Call for a list of items accepted and applicable fees.

Offers regularly scheduled rabies clinics throughout the county for cats, dogs and ferrets. Also provides information and follow up for humans or pets that have experienced an animal bite or possible rabies exposure. If bitten by or encountered a wild or domestic animal that could have rabies, call Public Health or seek health care.

The focus is to prevent premature or inappropriate out of home placement, maintain the family unit, and maximize the potential of the family member needing care.

Offers limited scholarships to youth in the area, enabling them to attend a week-long camp at Camp Long Point on Seneca Lake.

Dispatches police, fire and medical personnel in emergency situations, to aid those that reside in the community.

Hears cases involving vandalism, disorderly conduct, public intoxication, traffic violations, and other defenses that happen within the village or town. Accepts payments for restitution or fines ordered through the court.

Provides a full range of specialty services for women at every stage of life including obstetrics and gynecology services.

Provides medical care and emotional support for patients and their families coping with a terminal illness. Services include physician oversight, skilled nursing, social work, spiritual care, home health aides, and trained volunteers. Bereavement care and counseling is available before and after the death of a loved one.

Provides personalized financial management and budgeting education classes to assist families in asset building and work towards financial independence. Programming includes linkages to community resources, creating a budget, meal planning and grocery shopping, and home energy savings tips.

Pick up and impound or return to their owners if known, domestic dogs who have strayed from their homes. Also includes, enforce laws and complaints regarding dogs who have bitten someone or are otherwise making nuisances of themselves. Most animal control programs are unable to handle nuisance wildlife.

Provides Kindergarten through 5th grade education to prepare every student within the district to meet graduation requirements as set by the state.
