Provides support recovery from mental illness for people who experience a persistent and severe psychiatric symptoms and who have major difficulties taking care of their basic needs, protecting themselves, keeping safe and adequate housing, or maintaining employment.

The senior workers complete 20 weekly training hours of paid community service with non-profit and public agencies while continuing to actively seek permanent employment. The State requires each county to provide legal counsel to indigent offenders, it the accused faces possible imprisonment, or is involved in a custody case before the Surrogate, or Family Court.

Provides health information and referrals through telephone counseling by registered nurses. Call for free health information or assistance including free health information, physician and service referrals, program registration information, disease management assistance, post-discharge support for patients and families, pre-procedure instructions for diagnostic testing, follow-up for health screens and post-discharge care management for open-heart patients, including patient education and assistance with medications.

Provides early childhood education and family support services to children and families. The program goal is to offer a wide range of social and educational experiences to help prepare children and families for a successful transition into kindergarten. Also offers home visitors to families of program participants and to families who do not have a Head Start within their school district. Provides a seven week evidence-based education program (Prime for Life) to educate drivers who have been convicted of a DUI or DWI on the effects and consequences of drinking and driving. The program is voluntary, but also meets requirements if court ordered.

Provides legal assistance to persons and families threatened with homelessness due to eviction, foreclosure, utility shutoff, code violations, or other causes including mobile home park issues and land contract problems. Assists the household in trying to resolve the housing crisis and provides legal case management services to help the household maintain economic stability. Works to prevent evictions and, with community partners, provides rapid re-housing to our clients.
