Senior Independence Program | Faith in Action Steuben (Admin Site)

Provides non-emergency transportation to seniors for medical appointments, and routine errands that would not otherwise be able to get there, through the use of volunteer drivers.

IHS Coordinated Transportation Services and Volunteer Program | The Institute for Human Services, Inc. (IHS)

Provides transportation to elderly and disabled residents in Steuben County in need to non-emergency medical appointments, pharmacies, grocery stores, food pantries, and/or one-time trip to human service agencies. Regular assistance is not available for recurring treatments such as dialysis or physical therapy, but occasional or short term help may be available. Non-emergency Medicaid Transportation is available to residents in Allegany, Cattaraugus, Livingston and Steuben Counties.

Provides transportation to Club 60 sites, trips for banking and grocery shopping, and for the delivery of meals to homebound elderly. Also provides transportation to medical appointments for the elderly and others by referral through the Department of Social Services.
