IHS Coordinated Transportation Services and Volunteer Program | The Institute for Human Services, Inc. (IHS)

Provides transportation to elderly and disabled residents in Steuben County in need to non-emergency medical appointments, pharmacies, grocery stores, food pantries, and/or one-time trip to human service agencies. Regular assistance is not available for recurring treatments such as dialysis or physical therapy, but occasional or short term help may be available. Non-emergency Medicaid Transportation is available to residents in Allegany, Cattaraugus, Livingston and Steuben Counties.

Fee

No fee. Donations accepted.

Eligibility

Must not be eligible for transportation assistance through another program and be able to demonstrate need. For Medicaid Transportation must have Medicaid, must reside in Allegany, Cattaraugus, Livingston or Steuben County and must contact MAS to schedule.
