Protective Parenting Skill-Building Therapy Group | Adult Mental Health Services Clinic Satellite (AMHS)

Provides a supportive, psycho-educational, skill development-based therapy group for parents and guardians of children of all ages who witnessed, experienced, or are at risk for various types of abuse (physical, emotional, sexual), in order to reduce the parents and guardians distress related to the child abuse experience, and to increase the parents and guardians protective abilities through increased knowledge about abuse and the impact of trauma, and the development and practice of parenting skills. This group serves families in which children have been identified as at risk for abuse and neglect, and for whom court-ordered parenting education has been recommended.

Maternal Child Health Program | Chemung County Health Department - Main Site

Offers home visits to pregnant women for prenatal health education and guidance. Facilitates connections to additional programs and services that may help the individual through the pregnancy including referring agencies that can help in enrolling into Medicaid for uninsured pregnant individuals. Offers home visits by Certified Lactation Counselors following delivery to assist the breastfeeding mother with issues or concerns.

Family Enrichment Collaborative | Pro Action of Steuben and Yates - Main Site
