With support from the Office of Mental Health and the Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services, CHAMP acts as a comprehensive resource for consumers, providers, and healthcare advocates. CHAMP provides education on individuals’ insurance rights and helps address some of the most common barriers to substance use disorder and mental health care, including insurance denials of mental health and substance use disorder treatment and improper prior authorizations.

Accepts consumer complaints, as well as provides information about accessing free credit reports, and reporting credit report complaints.
