Community Health Access to Addiction and Mental Healthcare Project (CHAMP) | New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH)

An ombudsman program, to help people overcome barriers to mental health and substance use disorder care. With support from the Office of Mental Health and the Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services, CHAMP acts as a comprehensive resource for consumers, providers, and healthcare advocates. CHAMP provides education on individuals’ insurance rights and helps address some of the most common barriers to substance use disorder and mental health care, including insurance denials of mental health and substance use disorder treatment and improper prior authorizations.

Do Not Call Registry | New York State Do Not Call Registry

Provides the opportunity for individuals to opt out of receiving telemarketing calls on a land line or cell phone. Most telemarketers should not call your number once it has been on the registry for 31 days. If they do, a complaint can be filed. Numbers that have been registered remain on the list permanently.
