Offers space to the public for recreational use. Most parks provide picnic pavilions, trails and playgrounds and follow a carry-in, carry-out policy for trash. Pools available at two locations as well as an ice rink. City also sponsors many youth and adult sports leagues and camps, tot programs, Arts and Crafts programs, and community special events such as Kid's Day and the Great Pumpkin Hunt that are available at the various parks.

Provides building code information as well as ensured local building codes are enforced including taking and investigating reports of violations. Issues building permits.

Hears cases involving vandalism, disorderly conduct, public intoxication, traffic violations, and other defenses that happen within the village or town. Accepts payments for restitution or fines ordered through the court.

Promotes healthy sexuality and reproductive choices by providing most pregnancy related services including abortion referrals, education and counseling, free pregnancy testing, family planning counseling and emergency contraception.

Provides comprehensive educational program to prepare every student within the district to meet graduation requirement as set by the state. Includes extra curricular activities that give students a wide range of opportunities to be involved in student life.

Builds houses using volunteers, and donated materials and then sells them to partner families using affordable mortgages. Helps Seniors with ramp building. Helps homeowners find funding/grants for critical repairs. Can offer referrals for repairs. Not able to assist with immediate problems.

Offers OASAS licensed community residences and supportive living apartments for those recovering from chemical dependency in order to offer additional support as they transition themselves during their recovery, back into a community setting. Average length of stay is 3-6 months. Residences are located throughout Bath, NY.

Provides temporary benefits and services to income eligible individuals and families with the aim of helping them become self-sufficient. Services include Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) or Family Assistance, Safety Net Assistance (for single individuals or childless couples), employment and food stamp benefits. Child care subsidies are available to low income families to enable them to afford child care and continue to work. May use a registered or informal provider or a relative.

Offers transportation services for individuals who are transit disabled and to charter and special events. Also offers transportation for non-disabled residents of Yates County.

Provides bus transportation services for individuals with disabilities who need special accommodations. All buses have wheelchair lifts available.
