An ombudsman program, to help people overcome barriers to mental health and substance use disorder care. With support from the Office of Mental Health and the Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services, CHAMP acts as a comprehensive resource for consumers, providers, and healthcare advocates. CHAMP provides education on individuals’ insurance rights and helps address some of the most common barriers to substance use disorder and mental health care, including insurance denials of mental health and substance use disorder treatment and improper prior authorizations.

Offers various mental health related support groups to help individuals connect with others that are in a similar situation and are willing to offer mutual support. Ongoing groups include those related to individuals living with behavioral health issues. Also offers an in-patient treatment center for adults who feel like doing harm to themselves or to others as a result of depression, substance abuse or other mental health conditions.

Planning and policy making entity that monitors and oversees all services in the county in disability areas of mental health, developmental disabilities and alcohol/substance abuse.

Provides information to individuals on Emotional Anonymous (EA), organizes an annual conference, and prepares, publishes and distributes materials for those interested in becoming emotionally well.
