Impaired Driver Program (IDP) | CASA-Trinity of Chemung County

Provides a seven week evidence-based education program (Prime for Life) to educate drivers who have been convicted of a DUI or DWI on the effects and consequences of drinking and driving. The program is voluntary, but also meets requirements if court ordered.

Stop DWI Program | Yates County Sheriff's Office

Legislated in NYS as a response to injuries and deaths caused by drunk drivers. Provides a general deterrence approach with four major components. Enforcement - includes 13 local police departments, sheriffs and state police. Adjudication - includes public defenders, prosecution and magistrates. Rehabilitation - includes an alcohol abuse counselor and a probation officer. Education - includes many programs geared to raising public awareness with a particular focus on students in local schools. The program is entirely funded through drunk driving fines received through town, village, city and county courts. No Yates County tax dollars are involved.

Impaired Driver Program (IDP) | Catholic Charities Steuben/Livingston - Bath Site

Offers a court mandated, seven-week educational program that covers many aspects of the traffic system and drinking and driving with weekly classroom sessions. Program covers driver safety, alcohol and drugs as an impairment factor on driving performance, and alcohol and drug use and abuse. Classes offered in Bath, Corning and Hornell.

Drinking Driving Program (DDP) | Allegany Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse - Wellsville Satellite Office

Provides a seven week education program to educate drivers who have been convicted of a DUI or DWI on the effects and consequences of impaired driving. The program is voluntary, but also meets requirements if court ordered.
