Students meet at county facilities for seven all day sessions during one semester and receive hands on experience about county government including hearing department presentations, observing a legislative session, interviewing a County Legislator. The interns conduct a simulated legislative session as their culminating activity, where they introduce, discuss and vote on resolutions of their choosing about a county matter.
