Must meet income requirements, find own apartment or house, and reside in Allegany county. House or apartment must pass housing quality inspection.

Individuals may still be responsible for a portion of the monthly rent, depending on income. Rent voucher is paid directly to landlord.

Pays monthly rental and utility expenses on behalf of eligible individuals and families. Monthly subsidies are paid directly to the landlord as part of Section 8 program. Emergency assistance is not available under this program. Also provides rental assistance to individuals residing in Highland Pointe in Wellsville through the PBV program.
